Simon started with "It's not a complete and absolute disaster."

It is a complete and utter disaster. Those that choose suicide unless they are insane at the time will find their souls in hell for eternity.

Irrespective of this, on a natural level people are being promised a human and painless death and it's a false promise. The scientific literature doesn't support the methods being used as being painless. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9270985/

If you want to fight against physician-assisted suicide then the low hanging fruit is the chemicals that are being used to end lives and their use on death row inmates.

Maybe they should look in other countries how and what drugs they use for assisted suicide.

My brother got euthanasia done and that went very dignified, loving and flawless.

And not everybody believes in hell so do not say that these persons after a long illness and no recovery should do what you think is right let them choose for themselves.

And not everybody wants to go to a hospice and slowly die.

I linked a review article which covers "maybe they should look in other countries" in the comment above. Depending on the drug cocktail is taken it is very quite possible for someone undergoing assisted suicide to suffocate while paralysed and thus be unable to visibly show their pain. Irrespective, the separation of the soul from the body is a painful process.

I don't believe this kind of death is dignified or flawless. The drugs used can be the same used in public executions in the USA. When you place the state in charge of that process and alternatives aren't funded the process has the potential to become the only option.
